　　The majority of young people in Australia that I know do not explicitly talk about their faith. However, many would believe in a set of principles which guide how they live their lives.
　　据我所知，澳大利亚大部分的年轻人不会清楚的谈论他们的信仰。不过，许多人都会相信一些指导他们如何生活的信条。
　　Young people in Western countries are often described in the media as Generation Y, the Me Generation, interested in consumerism and selfish pursuits. My experiences are very much the opposite.
　　西方国家的年轻人经常被媒体称为Y代人，即自我的一代，他们拥护消费至上主义和利己主义。而我的体验与他们正相反。
　　I see young people who are passionate about making a difference in the world, acting on issues of the environment, climate change, poverty and injustice, at the same time as seeking to secure their own futures. As a result faith, having something to believe in, is becoming more important to them.
　　我看到许多年轻人充满激情，希望给这个世界带来改变，他们正在环境问题、气候变化、贫穷以及不公正现象上做着努力;与此同时，他们也在寻求着自己未来的保障。因此，有自己所坚信的信仰，对于他们来说正变得越来越重要。
